Gender Code of Conduct to Combat Human TraffickingMay 26th, 2017
AAPTIP has assisted Anti-Trafficking Units within the Cambodian National Police to implement activities that support gender equality.
A gender action plan has been implemented within the Anti-Trafficking Units in 25 provinces and Gender Code of Conduct training will continue to be delivered to all 25 provincial units in 2017/18.
“I think the enforcement of the Gender Code of Conduct is very crucial for me in order to improve the attitude and behaviour in combating human trafficking, as well as communication with other units and the public, because in order to combat human trafficking we have to respect gender equality.”
